Lu Daopei Medical Group runs four for-profit specialist hematology hospitals in Beijing, Shanghai and Hebei and is a national leader in hematopoietic stem cell transplantation and blood tumor care. The group operates nine specialized laboratories and a MICM-PP integrated diagnostic system, with a professional testing team of over 170 staff that provides services to more than 100 hospitals. Clinically it is among the most active global transplant centers — the group performed 1,081 transplants in 2019 (about 70% haploidentical) and had completed 914 CAR-T clinical trial cases by June 2020. The hospital was an early adopter of CAR-T trials (since 2015) and has developed proprietary CAR-T bridging-to-transplant techniques. Management says transplant case volumes and business revenue doubled over the past three years. After the recent financing the group plans to strengthen its leadership in blood-disease treatment, expand capacity and enhance its international influence through continued clinical innovation and service expansion.
