Lubets is a 100% Spanish intimate-cosmetics brand founded in 2019 by Alicia Zurita that makes sensation-enhancing gels in a pocket format. The product line—marketed as sex gels—seeks to shift use from pathology to free, experiential enjoyment and has disrupted the traditional lubricant market. The company has support from backers including Tom Horsey, Juan José Mostazo, Tomaso Cremoseni and Alma Ventures, and has closed distribution agreements such as with Aurovitas to enter the pharmacy channel. Lubets has also expanded internationally, breaking into Saudi and Asian markets. The recent financing will be used to consolidate expansion in pharmaceuticals and the mass‑market channel and to target presence in more than 5,000 pharmacies by year‑end. Management expects to close the year with about double the number of orders initially projected and says it has exceeded plans in talent, points of sale and turnover.
