Lucca builds HR and administrative SaaS for small and mid-sized businesses, offering tools for time and activity management, expense reports, personnel administration, annual reviews and measuring well-being at work. The company serves more than 5,000 customers and over one million end users. Founded in 2002 and bootstrapped for 20 years, Lucca has remained privately funded until this round. Management plans to use new capital to accelerate product innovation with a focus on spend management, training and workforce planning. Lucca aims to expand internationally into Spain and Switzerland and intends to hire more than 400 employees over the next three years. The company targets revenues in excess of €100 million by 2025.
