Deployable in about six weeks without new hardware, the software has demonstrated approximately 40% reductions in power-usage effectiveness (PUE), 25% lower power consumption, 30% less water usage and 40% gains in team efficiency. The product focuses on system-wide optimization rather than localized fixes and can operate without direct network connections, eliminating added cyber-risk. Recent milestones include expansion into the United States, opening a New York City headquarters and onboarding the first U.S. customer. The founders first began developing the concept in 2019 and have since grown the platform into a globally deployed solution. With data-center capital needs projected to reach $7 trillion by 2030, Lucend sees a rapidly expanding market for its efficiency software. Proceeds from its latest seed financing are earmarked for broadening product capabilities and scaling U.S. market penetration.
