LucidLogix Technologies develops a distributed processing engine designed to improve visual computing for both business and gaming applications. The company is based in Kfar Netter, Israel, and maintains sales and marketing operations in Santa Clara, California. It received an additional $8m in equity financing that brought its total capitalization to $40m. The new funds are intended to boost sales, accelerate market penetration of current products, and support development of future technologies. Current investors Rho Ventures, Giza Venture Capital and Genesis Partners participated in the round. No operating metrics or revenues were disclosed in the article. LucidLogix builds a "traffic cop" chip that ties together multiple graphics cards and integrated chipsets so a computer can leverage parallel graphics processing.
