Lucy Labs is a New York City–based cryptocurrency asset management firm founded in 2017 and led by CEO George Chuang. The firm develops and applies quantitative and fundamental trading strategies, managing a range of quantitative approaches that exploit momentum and carry factors while employing rigorous risk management and strategy-specific structures. Lucy Labs also acts as a market maker and liquidity provider on both centralized and decentralized exchanges. It launched three strategies to outside investors in November 2021 and is accepting commitments on a rolling monthly basis. The company intends to use new funding to expand infrastructure, hire additional investment professionals, and incubate additional trading strategies.
