Lumenaza is a Berlin-based SaaS platform that provides software to enable green utilities and energy retailers. Its platform manages the entire customer life cycle for electricity products, including advance billing, a product catalogue and a virtual power plant. The product catalogue enables simple, fast configurations of green energy offerings and prices, while the virtual power plant seeks to maximise the value of renewable assets. Lumenaza targets emerging green energy companies, enabling them to scale and diversify their offerings and deploy new services rapidly. The company has run pilot programmes in Sweden and the UK and is prioritising expansion in Spain. Founded in 2013 by Bernhard Bohmer and Christian Chudoba, Lumenaza recently raised €6.5 million in a Series B to further enhance its platform and services and to drive marketing efforts.
