Lumia is a New York City-based company developing an agentic AI security and governance platform designed to help enterprises safely adopt AI and autonomous agents. Deployed at the network level, the platform delivers visibility, guardrails and policy enforcement across every layer of AI usage, analyzing content, context and intent through its proprietary Protocol Analysis Engine. The system aims to prevent data leakage and compliance violations without hindering employee productivity. Lumia currently serves customers in financial services, technology and other data-sensitive industries. The company was founded by Omri Iluz, former co-founder and CEO of PerimeterX, and Bobi Gilburd, former CTO of Israel’s Unit 8200. Newly raised capital will be directed toward expanding engineering and research teams, deepening integrations with major AI ecosystems and enterprise infrastructure, and scaling go-to-market operations. The startup has also added Admiral Michael Rogers, former Director of the NSA and Commander of U.S. Cyber Command, to its advisory board. To date, Lumia has raised $18 million in external funding.
