Luminate is a software-as-a-service security platform that enables CISOs, CIOs and CTOs to securely manage access to corporate resources from any device and location. It is built on Software Defined Perimeter principles to grant one-time access to requested applications while cloaking other corporate resources, preventing lateral movement and network-based attacks. The platform integrates with cloud IaaS and on-premises data center technologies and delivers a consistent, cloud-native user experience. After 14 months of development and deployment, Luminate has emerged from stealth with production-grade paying enterprise customers in international financial, technology, and consumer services. The company intends to use the funds to expand U.S. operations and develop its channels and customer base. Founded in January 2017 by Ofer Smadari, Leonid Belkind, and Eldad Livni, Luminate is based in Palo Alto and Tel Aviv.
