Luminescent is a Tel Aviv-based provider of a liquid-based isothermal engine solution that upcycles waste heat into zero-emission electricity. Its core product uses isothermal processes to transform heat sources in the 100–550℃ range. Led by CEO Doron Tamir, the company targets industrial and other businesses seeking to convert waste heat into clean energy and cost savings. Luminescent says its solution is designed to be efficient and economical, helping companies turn sustainability commitments into energy cost-cutting decisions. The company raised $7M in Seed funding and intends to use the proceeds to bring its solution to market. The round was led by Grove Ventures with participation from Extantia Capital.
