Overview
Luna Robotics is a Kaunas-based defense technology company that builds LunaCam, a tactical FPV camera providing day- and night-time visibility for military drones. The camera integrates software that eases pilot operations, assists in target detection, and boosts overall mission efficiency, and it has already been battlefield-tested in Ukraine and sold in EU and U.S. markets. All manufacturing is carried out in Lithuania, and management highlights fully China-independent electronic and software supply chains. Founded by Lithuanian Riflemen’s Union members Elvinas Kukys and Ramūnas Čereškevičius, the firm leverages the founders’ frontline experience to prioritise soldier safety and operational accuracy. With the new capital, Luna Robotics plans to purchase automation and calibration equipment, scale production capacity, and deepen its sales and partner network across Europe and the United States. Interest from NATO-country buyers and a B2B sales model underpin expectations for rapid growth, although no specific revenue or user metrics were disclosed. Coinvest Capital notes that Luna Robotics fits its strategy of backing locally manufactured defense solutions and has become the fund’s 50th portfolio company.
