LuxWall develops Net Zero Glass that uses vacuum insulation technology to cut conduction, convection and radiative heat gain and energy loss in windows. Its windows consist of two vacuum‑insulated coated glass (VIG) panes and behave much like a thermos bottle. The company says Net Zero Glass delivers R‑12+ thermal insulation versus R‑3 to R‑7 for current offerings. Led by CEO Scott Thomsen, LuxWall is focused on product development, scaling and commercialization of its glass products and solutions for the built environment. LuxWall commissioned a pilot production line in 2022 and intends to scale production at ‘LuxWall Factory 1’, its first purpose‑built commercial factory. The company has raised a total of $39M to date.
