Lymbix is a developer of real-time sentiment analytics technology based in Moncton, New Brunswick, Canada. It offers two products: ToneCheck, an add-in for Microsoft Outlook 2007/2010 that alerts users to negative sentiment before sending messages, and TweetTone, which analyzes emotion in Twitter conversations about brands, products and trending topics. The company was founded in 2009 by President and CEO Matt Eldridge and CTO Josh Merchant. Lymbix was recently accepted into Microsoft's BizSparkONE program. It received a $1.35M financing from GrowthWorks Atlantic Venture Fund and intends to use the funds to significantly ramp up its sales initiatives.
