LynxCare

Tiensevest 132, Leuven, Vlaams-Brabant, 3000, Belgium

Overview

LynxCare provides an AI and Natural Language Processing platform that extracts insights from legacy, siloed hospital data to surface real-world treatment performance and improve patient outcomes. The company notes that an estimated 90% of hospital data remains unused and aims to unlock that information for clinical care and research. Founded in 2015 by Georges De Feu and Dries Hens, LynxCare works with hospitals to operationalize previously inaccessible data. The platform has entered a partnership with PSIH Group, giving 66% of French hospital groups access to its software. The company raised €20 million in a Series A to accelerate the international rollout of its platform and scale adoption. LynxCare is a Leuven-based startup that has developed the LynxCare AI platform to automatically process and display hospital data. The platform analyzes large volumes of unstructured clinical data using tailored, context-specific algorithms the company says deliver higher accuracy and scalable results. Its product is designed to benefit patients, physicians, care staff, and hospital organisations by enabling value-based, results-oriented care. Founded in 2015, LynxCare plans to use the new funding to fuel expansion across Europe and the United States. The company raised €1.8 million in the latest round, following a €1.75 million raise in April, bringing nearly €4 million raised in under a year according to the CEO. Investors and management point to the team’s machine-learning and medical expertise and the company’s commercial traction in clinical data analytics.
