M2i Life Sciences develops pheromones and complex molecules for crop protection, animal health and human health, focusing on biocontrol agricultural products. Founded in 2013 and led by President Philippe Guerret, the company aims to offer natural solutions to increasing insecticide resistance and toxicity issues related to GMOs. It intends to commercialize a new generation of biocontrol products and advance its R&D pipeline. The company employs 110 people, more than a quarter of whom work in R&D, and holds 12 patent families protecting its technology and product ranges. M2i operates a research laboratory in Lacq, a production plant in Salin de Giraud and a manufacturing center in Parnac. The recent funding is intended to support product approval processes, further R&D investment and accelerated international development.
