Made Modern LLC is a New York–based developer of products and media aimed at fostering creativity in children ages 4 through 11. Its flagship brand, Kid Made Modern, offers gender-neutral, sustainably sourced arts-and-crafts, clothing, back-to-school and home goods that encourage children to express their creativity. Launched in 2010 by designer Todd Oldham and led by CEO Brian Richards, the company has created more than 1,000 products and media. In February 2018 Made Modern completed a $3M financing transaction with Decathlon Capital Partners. The investment will enable Kid Made Modern to increase inventory, expand distribution, invest in e-commerce opportunities and make key personnel moves to reach a larger audience. The financing is intended to support the brand's growth and expanded market reach.
