Founded in 2024 and headquartered in Reno, Nevada, Madison AI builds a purpose-built artificial intelligence platform for local governments. Its core product is a chatbot research assistant that can search and analyze policy documents, municipal codes, voting records and other public-sector data, as well as generate staff reports and automate day-to-day tasks. The company grew out of a public-private partnership between Washoe County and planning firm OnStrategy, with Washoe County officials participating in product co-development. Before its seed financing, Madison AI had secured more than 50 customer deployments, including Addison (TX), the Santa Clara Valley Water Authority (CA), the City of Fresno (CA) and Las Vegas (NV). With the new capital, Madison AI plans to expand its product features, strengthen its data infrastructure, build additional AI assistants and scale its overall platform and team. The company highlights a board and advisory roster that includes government-technology veterans Tom Spengler and Javier Muniz.
