Founded in 2024, Magie has built a conversational financial assistant that lets users send Pix transfers, consult and pay bills, schedule payments and set reminders without leaving WhatsApp. The startup has complemented this core product with a dedicated mobile app and, more recently, a business (PJ) account to serve corporate clients. Its platform has accumulated more than 400,000 users who have processed over R$2 billion in transaction volume to date. Magie is now pivoting toward a B2B strategy, offering white-label infrastructure so enterprises in finance, retail and telecom can embed payments and banking services into their own WhatsApp channels. The company is piloting the service with a small group of carefully selected enterprises and plans a controlled rollout through 2026, while also eyeing expansion into other Latin American markets. Consumer-facing products will remain as a sandbox for new features. Including the latest capital infusion, Magie has secured more than US$10 million in total funding.
