MAIA builds a boxed language-model SaaS platform that enables businesses to configure and deploy multi-agent systems (MAS) for sales, support, HR and other tasks. Its technology aims to replace first-line sales agents, HR consultants, customer-support reps, assistants and some legal-help functions with AI agents operating across messengers and social networks. The company plans to use the latest funding to refine the platform and finish development of its first public version, slated to launch at the end of February. MAIA entered the UK market in late 2023 and intends to expand into Latin America and other emerging markets in 2024. Financially, the project is valued at 500 million rubles after a February 2024 raise; the company previously closed a pre-seed round of 12 million rubles in November 2023. The founder is Oleg Lupikov.
