Founded in 2021 by Chaitanya Muppala and headquartered in Hyderabad, Manam Chocolate operates a bean-to-bar premium chocolate business with more than 330 products across 50+ categories. It owns the full value chain from cacao farming and fermentation to chocolate making and confections, working with over 250 farmers across more than 3,000 acres of cacao farms in West Godavari, Andhra Pradesh. The brand has retail outlets in Hyderabad and Delhi and sells pan-India via D2C channels. In 2023 it won 17 awards at the Academy of Chocolate Awards (UK) and an International Chocolate Award. The company announced a $9 million Series A and plans to deploy the proceeds for retail expansion in the Delhi-NCR region over the next year.
