Manifold provides a platform that enables developers to find, buy and manage essential services — from email to logging — without being locked into a single cloud platform. Led by CEO and co-founder Jevon MacDonald, the company launched from stealth with support from developer favorites such as Scout, Mailgun, LogDNA and RedisGreen. Manifold is based in San Francisco, CA and Halifax, Canada. It plans to use the Series A proceeds to build out its team, which already includes developers from Heroku, Salesforce and Red Hat, and to expand its roster of essential services. The platform streamlines purchasing and management so developers can focus on building their apps. The company raised $15M in a Series A from a group of venture investors.
