MarketWolf is a Singapore-based, trading-first platform targeting first-time investors and is live in India. The app enables trading in options, futures, ETFs and stocks with low minimum investments starting at $5 and includes practice and learn modules. It emphasizes risk management with mandatory risk/reward levels, listing only liquid instruments, and preventing selling of options to avoid unlimited risk. The product features a gamified interface and many users come from mobile gaming communities; most users are aged 18–35. Since launching in India in 2020, the app has seen more than 1.5 million downloads in the last 18 months and its number of trading accounts and retail active clients has grown 10x year-over-year.
