Martello Technologies, founded in 2009 and based in Kanata, develops MarWatch, a cloud-hosted system for monitoring, tracking and analyzing enterprise communications network performance. The company plans to use recent public funding to improve the design and development of the MarWatch system and accelerate commercialization. FedDev Ontario has committed up to $750,000 as a repayable contribution under the Investir dans l'innovation des entreprises initiative to support the project. That contribution is expected to mobilize up to $1.5 million from accredited investors associated with the Canadian Venture Capital and Private Equity Association. Martello says the support will help it respond to growing global demand and enter new international markets. The company expects the project to create nine new jobs and maintain twelve full-time positions during implementation.
