Mason offers a collaborative SQL-first analytics tool that lets teams write a query once, visualize results, and share them across the organization. The platform learns from every query to guide subsequent users to the right data and to surface existing answers so work isn’t duplicated. It can auto-complete complex operations such as table joins based on prior team queries, lowering the bar for less-experienced analysts. Mason aims to reduce time spent pinging colleagues on Slack and make data access a team-wide capability rather than the remit of a single data team. The founders — William Tisäter, Anders Berntsson, and Anton Reimertz — built the product from their experience with slow, single-player data tools. Mason has raised a $1.7M pre-seed to pursue its vision of making it faster than ever to get answers from data.
