Massless is building the Massless Pen, a professional stylus aimed at designers and engineers that functions both as a tablet stylus and a VR input device. The Pen features surface sensing, capacitive touch and haptic feedback, targeting Apple Pencil–like precision. Off-surface, it operates as a tracked 6DoF VR controller that users can employ to manipulate, edit and create in three-dimensional space. It uses its own tracking system that can be mounted below hardware trackers used for VR headsets, and can also be used as a standard graphics tablet to control 3D software on a monitor. Massless plans to target business customers in design- and visualization-heavy industries such as commercial architecture and automotive design. The company recently closed a seed round to fund team growth and to finish the Massless Pen for its first set of production enterprise partners.
