Masterschool operates a network of online tech career-training schools offering six- to 12-month programs. Students pay no upfront tuition and instead repay after placement by giving 10% of their monthly income, with typical total tuition between $10,000 and $20,000; some employer partners will fully pay tuition for hires. Programs are immersive, requiring 25–40 hours per week of live lectures, assignments, one-on-one sessions and class meetings. Co-founders and co-CEOs Otni Levi and Miachel Shurp launched and bootstrapped the company three years ago and say Masterschool is already profitable. The company plans to scale its platform to launch thousands of career-training schools and aims to enable millions of students to build new careers. It positions itself as a network model where industry practitioners build and run individual schools on Masterschool’s platform.
