Masthaven is a UK-based bank led by founder and CEO Andrew Bloom that offers savings and lending products including fixed-term savings accounts, bridging loans, development finance, and mortgages. The bank is regulated by the Financial Conduct Authority and the Prudential Regulation Authority. It received a £60m equity investment from Värde Partners, subject to regulatory approval from the Bank of England. Masthaven intends to use the funds to increase its lending capacity for the UK residential and SME markets over the next three to five years and to launch innovative deposit solutions. The investment is intended to support growth across its core lending and deposit product lines. Masthaven was advised by Houlihan Lokey and PJT Partners (corporate finance) and Linklaters and Mishcon de Reya (legal); Värde was advised by Slaughter and May.
