Founded in 2022, Material Depot offers a one-stop catalog of more than 300,000 products spanning tiles, laminates, plywood, wall panels, wallpapers, quartz and wooden flooring. About 60% of its portfolio is made up of private-label brands, giving the company greater margin control. The Bengaluru-headquartered startup follows an omnichannel approach: users browse curated collections and 3D visualisations online, then visit physical Experience Centres to inspect materials before purchase. To date it has served over 15,000 customers and operates three Experience Centres in its home city. Future plans include expanding to more than 30 centres across India and growing its customer base to 50,000 within 12–18 months. The newly raised capital will be directed toward strengthening supply-chain tech, inventory planning and in-store assisted selling, as well as broadening curated offerings.
