Launched in 2023, Maxim AI has built a platform aimed at developers building generative AI (GenAI) applications, particularly in medium and large enterprises. The platform embeds into the development process to standardise testing from engineering through post-release fine-tuning and supports human evaluation. Founders Vaibhavi Gangwar (formerly at Google) and Akshay Deo (formerly at Postman) position the product to address GenAI’s non-deterministic outputs, hallucinations, and ethics concerns. The company says its tools can boost developer productivity so apps can ship up to five times faster. Maxim has attracted a number of paying customers, especially from the SaaS sector, and until now operated in private beta. The business plans to use new funding to drive product development, recruitment, and third-party partnerships as it moves to general availability.
