Maximal Learning is building a generative-AI product that personalizes instruction to different learning styles and student intent. The founders, Eran Megiddo and Liviu Asnash, are longtime Microsoft leaders who previously sold a startup to Microsoft in 2001. The company is targeting all age groups, including K-12 and higher education, and has a research partnership with the Stanford Graduate School of Education. The product remains in stealth mode and the founders have disclosed few technical details. The startup currently has only the two co-founders as employees and plans to use new funding to hire engineers and designers. Financially, Maximal Learning just closed a $5.7 million seed round to support product and team development.
