Founded in 2006 and led by CEO Tim Brown, the company supports clients through offices in New York, London, San Francisco, Edinburgh and Dusseldorf and a global network of marketing and technology partners. Its platform enables clients to drive continuous improvements in their key online strategic goals and financial metrics. Maxymiser recently secured growth financing facilities and intends to use the proceeds to further accelerate its revenue growth and capitalize on additional strategic growth opportunities. The amount of the transactions was not disclosed. Maxymiser provides A/B and multivariate testing, personalization and optimization tools to improve website effectiveness. Its platform is used by major U.S. brands including Teleflora, Finish Line, HarperCollins, Time Warner Cable and Harry & David across retail, travel, financial services, media and online gambling. The company plans to use the $12M funding to expand its business with a special emphasis on North American R&D. It plans to soon release a software update with a new user interface and a visual campaign builder that lets marketers set up and view test results without coding or technical support. Investors in this round included new investor Investor Growth Capital alongside Series A investor Pentech Ventures. Maxymiser was named the 2011 Online Technology Vendor of the Year and was featured in the Wall Street Journal for a case where testing increased use of a search box by 45%.
