Overview
(med)24 is a membership-based health service that provides 24-hour, GP-led specialist care with consultations, diagnosis and treatment in one physical location, interchangeable with on-demand virtual care. The clinic bundles primary and urgent care with year-round personalised health and wellbeing programmes and treatment rooms for minor procedures and physiotherapy. It offers state-of-the-art point-of-care testing and diagnostics, including onsite blood and urine testing and access to ultrasound scans. The first clinic is a 7,000 square foot facility on Eastbourne Terrace in Paddington next to the Crossrail station, with five consulting rooms and two procedure/treatment rooms. The site is undergoing a million-pound fit-out and is positioned near major corporate offices such as Microsoft, Vodafone and Nokia. Founders Jonathan Kron and Ahmad Al-Hamad lead the business; Jonathan Kron has worked in healthcare for over 15 years.
