Med-Surgical Services, Inc. manufactures the CBYON Eclipse image-guided surgery (IGS) system for cranial, spine, and ENT procedures. The CBYON Eclipse is positioned as an affordable, agnostic, and highly accurate navigation system and was used in over 1,000 procedures in the last year. In its first year of commercial operations the company sold 25 navigation systems, surpassing its initial commercial goal. The company re-launched the CBYON technology in 2022 after securing rights to IP initially developed in collaboration with Stanford University in the early 2000s. Med-Surgical says it will pursue an aggressive adoption strategy to expand use and become a standard of care. The company recently completed a $3.9 million Series A funding round led by Core Guidance LLC.
