Founded in July 2024, Medida has developed a computer-vision and artificial-intelligence platform that lets contractors capture millimeter-level measurements with a simple smartphone scan, eliminating the need for on-site surveyors. The system is already being used mainly for doors and windows and is now being extended to kitchens, flooring, and bathrooms. After just nine months in the U.S. market, the product is deployed across 35 states and is generating $3 million in annual recurring revenue. Management projects the company will reach profitability in the first quarter of 2026. Medida estimates that measurement errors and on-site visits cost U.S. suppliers hundreds of thousands of dollars annually, positioning its solution as a major cost and time saver in a $2.5 trillion renovation industry.
