Its services include Sickness Absence Management, Health Surveillance and Mental Health Support. Founded 20 years ago by Dr Mike Goldsmith, the business is now led by his son Alex Goldsmith. The company received a £9.5m investment from BGF to accelerate its growth plans. Medigold intends to use the funds to make two strategic acquisitions—IMASS, which focuses on the South West and public sector customers, and Hampton Knight, a UK specialist in alcohol and drug screening services. Those acquisitions are expected to expand the company's geographic and sector reach.
