Meditronika produces 3D-printed leg prostheses using a modular assembly system in which only a broken part is replaced. The company was founded by Alexey Sobchenko in 2019. Production capacity is up to 20 prostheses per month. In May the startup completed a crowdfunding round that valued the company at 260 million rubles. The round raised 39 million rubles in exchange for 15% equity. More than 17.6 thousand shares were issued at 2,226 rubles apiece on the Zapusk.tech platform. In 2022 the company previously raised 5 million rubles from a private investor for 20% of the business.
