MeetMindful, launched in 2015 by CEO and founder Amy Baglan, is a relationship platform that connects people pursuing spirituality, wellness, green living, fitness, higher consciousness and the creative arts. New members can join for free, browse like-minded people in their area, view profiles, favorite members, see matches, receive new matches, and chat with other members. The website provides over 1,000 dating and relationship articles, and the company offers an iOS app as well as a web experience. MeetMindful raised $1.8M in seed funding. Backers included Bridge Builders Collaborative, Paul Tarell, Reid Tracy, Tara Brach, Nelstone Ventures and the Techstars Mentorship-Driven Accelerator Program, and the company has raised $2.7M in total funding. The company intends to use the funds to reach national brand awareness, add new interface features including an Android version of the app, introduce in-app dating coaching, and launch a new in-app game called Nicebreakers.
