Amedrix GmbH is a developer and producer of medical devices for the regeneration of soft tissue defects based on native collagen solutions. Its product range includes collagen solutions, spumes, membranes, sponges and fleeces that vary in form, size and thickness to treat a broad range of defects. The newly founded Esslingen, Germany company raised €700,000 in start up financing to support initial activities. The funds will enable Amedrix to undertake necessary steps to obtain approval for its first products and to build up its own production. The company plans to distribute the first products through established market partners and launch them in 2010.
