Meishubao, founded in 2014, began as an online platform connecting high-school art students and art training institutions. It offers online courses, painting critique, and information on art colleges, and has expanded into Meishubao 1to1 for children aged 4–12. The company also provides Microschool, a SaaS product for art training institutions, aiming to build a comprehensive art education network in China. Meishubao plans to add one-to-many classes and AR animation courses this summer. It focuses on delivering art education courses and services online. It announced the completion of a Series D round of financing at $210 million. The financing round was led by TPG’s global impact investing platform, The Rise Fund. The company made the announcement on Thursday.
