Memgraph
20 Ropemaker St, London, United Kingdom
Overview
Memgraph 2.0 is a source-available platform that enables developers to build streaming graph applications by ingesting data from sources like Kafka, CSV and S3 and transforming it into graph models for real-time algorithms. The company offers a free Community Edition under a Business Source License and an Enterprise Edition with role-based access control, auditing, encryption and support SLAs for larger businesses. Its platform exposes battle-tested graph algorithms (PageRank, community detection, BFS/DFS) to enable applications such as dashboards, recommendation engines, permission modeling and fraud detection. The founders spent five years building an in-memory graph database before publicly launching Memgraph 2.0. Memgraph cites customer use (LSI) for scheduling and production-site modeling as an example of enterprise application. The company disclosed a $9.34 million seed financing led by Microsoft’s M12 and plans to use the funds to grow the team, accelerate R&D, bring new features to market and drive developer adoption.
