Mendor develops integrated diabetes care products centered on its Discreet™ blood glucose meter, which combines meter, strips and lancing device. The device is supported by Mendor Balance™, a web-based software that provides thorough analysis of treatment and lets patients pair measurements before and after meals and sleep. The company raised €8.1M in a Series B venture financing to support global expansion. In conjunction with the funding, Anne Portwich, PhD (Partner at Life Sciences Partners) will join Mendor's board of directors. Mendor was founded in 2006 and is led by CEO and co-founder Kristian Ranta.
