Mentee Robotics is building Menteebot, a humanoid, bi-pedal robot prototype that emphasizes perception and reasoning via computer vision and generative AI. The system uses transformer-based LLMs to interpret commands and plan multi-step tasks, and focuses on integrating locomotion with dexterous manipulation, including dynamic balance while carrying weights. The company stresses sim-to-real methodologies and detailed simulators as core to enabling general-purpose behavior and imitation learning. Mentee is positioning the robot for both industrial (warehouses and factories) and, further down the road, home markets.
