Mentoria operates an AI-enabled platform where users begin with a psychometric assessment that feeds into an algorithm recommending suitable career paths. These recommendations are supplemented by online counseling sessions with trained, certified counselors and access to a knowledge base covering more than 850 careers, 3,000 colleges and universities, and over 100 hours of expert mentorship content. To date, the startup has served over 81,000 students and working professionals while partnering with 50 corporates—including Axis Bank, Aditya Birla Capital, and L&T Technology Services—and 50 schools. The company achieved fourfold growth in FY 2020-21 despite pandemic headwinds. It has also cultivated a community of 250+ counselors and “counsellorpreneurs” through its mobile app. Newly raised funds will be used to enhance the technology stack, gamify content, expand marketing, and build career-focused communities and customized information pathways. Mentoria ultimately aims to become the “Google of Careers,” guiding millions toward informed, fulfilling career decisions.
