MentorWorks Education Capital is an ISA provider that finances students’ tuition in exchange for a percentage of future income for a fixed period up to a maximum cap, without interest. The company also offers career development, mentoring and access to employers through its Talent Accelerator Program. MentorWorks announced a $1.25 million investment led by New U Venture Partners to expand its infrastructure and operations. The funding is intended to enable expansion of financial and social capital offerings to college and non-traditional students in a hybrid, fund-and-support approach. Company leadership, including CEO and co-founder Karthik Krishnan, said the investment will support MentorWorks’ mission to address affordability and accessibility for underserved students.
