MesDocteurs is an online and mobile paid platform that provides anonymous, accurate and specific health advice and information to users. The service can refer users to healthcare professionals and, in cases of obvious emergency, to Centre 15 emergency call centres or the nearest hospital. Founded in 2015 in Marseille by Chloé Ramade, Séverine Grégoire and Nicolas Orofino, the founders previously created Monshowroom with backing from Omnes Capital. After a four-month beta the site handled more than 1,000 questions and worked with over 60 partner doctors. The company has raised €1.2m in initial funding from Omnes Capital, Partech Ventures and business angels from the insurance sector. MesDocteurs intends to use the funds to strengthen its teams, launch a B2B service for insurance companies and mutual organisations, implement video/audio chat, release an Android app and obtain approvals to offer online consultations in the coming months.
