Founded in 2025 by former Dell executives Tejas Pandit and Ravi Chitloor, MeshDefend is developing Agent Mesh™, an AI-native operating system designed to automate and secure mission-critical data infrastructure for large enterprises, MSPs, and GSIs. The platform delivers context-aware intelligence for day-2 operations in backup and storage, aiming to cut operational complexity, boost resilience, and improve uptime across on-prem, multi-cloud, and hybrid deployments. Vendor-agnostic by design, MeshDefend partners with infrastructure vendors, hyperscalers, and design partners in the IT services sector to co-build use cases. The company operates with a lean engineering team that combines deep expertise in storage, backup, recovery, and cyber-resilience.
