Mesitis provides Canopy, an account aggregation and portfolio-visualization product that consolidates financial data across banks, markets, currencies and asset classes into a single portfolio. Canopy was scheduled to exit closed beta in the third quarter and reports more than US$3.2 billion of assets under reporting. Its customers include high-net-worth individuals, wealth managers and family offices across Singapore, Hong Kong, Switzerland and the United Kingdom. The company plans to use the new funding to invest in people and technology to support product development and growth. Mesitis has appointed Chandrima Das to run its technology-led investment and wealth advisory business. Its subsidiary, Mesitis Capital Pte Ltd, is a fund management company registered with the Monetary Authority of Singapore. Mesitis is a Singapore-based financial technology company focused on the wealth industry and the maker of Canopy, an automated account aggregation and portfolio visualization platform. Its customers include net-worth individuals, single and multiple family offices, wealth managers, trust and fund administrators, and private banks. The company is led by founder and CEO Tanmai Sharma and Chief Commercial Officer Takeshi Yoshida. Mesitis employed 14 people at the time of the article and planned to hire an additional 8–10 staff in the coming months. It closed a US$3M Series A and intends to use the capital to ramp up its service and fund overseas expansion to markets such as Hong Kong, Zurich, London and Dubai. Backers for the round were not disclosed.
