Mesmer offers a SaaS Robotic Process Automation for Development (RPAD) that uses AI-powered bots to offload customer-experience testing from developers. Its patent-pending Deep Learning Automation™ leverages computer vision, natural language processing and path-planning models to test apps in a customer-centric way. The bots crawl apps, recognizing UI elements such as login buttons and credit card fields while searching for bugs. The solution covers the full stack, from building testing infrastructure and performing UI and end-to-end tests to documenting bugs and executing user-acceptance testing. Mesmer will use the funding to launch and commercialize its RPAD product. The company is led by co-founder and CEO Waheed Qureshi and was founded by the Zenprise team that sold a mobile device management solution to Citrix for $355 million in 2012.
