MetaSim develops a SaaS learning platform that uses VR and behavioral science to deliver immersive simulations of real-life managerial situations. Its catalog targets leadership skills such as giving feedback, critical thinking, social inclusion and diversity, risk and crisis management, and public speaking. The software is hardware-agnostic but the company currently works with Oculus devices and sells to medium and large businesses as part of corporate development packages. MetaSim completed pilot projects with a couple of clients and is launching its first product commercially, with a planned UK release at the beginning of 2022. The founding team comprises two Bulgarian and two British co-founders and the company’s team is currently based in Bulgaria. Having bootstrapped initial development, MetaSim aims to expand its simulation offerings and hardware inventory as it scales.
