Metaversal is an NFT venture studio that builds and manages an NFT portfolio and backs companies working toward an open metaverse. It raised $50 million in a Series A funding round announced May 11, 2023. The studio has collected more than 750 NFTs to date and was the first institutional investor in ConstitutionDAO. Metaversal said it will use the funding to expand its NFT holdings and to invest in metaverse companies. The company plans to collaborate with NFT and platform partners including Dapper Labs and Rarible. CEO Yossi Hasson said the round brings some of the foremost blockchain and technology investors into its mission.
